Data sheets
For recording information about the habitat of fungi you have collected, a record card used in the field is sufficient. The cards can be sent with the fungus to someone for identification (Short Record Card 24kb). For recording detailed data, you may find it useful to make up and use a data sheet such as a two page form suitable for mushroom fungi (Longer Data Sheet 35kb). Data sheets prompt the user to record all required categories of data and they can be translated efficiently into electronic databases.
